SPAIN - LOPE DE VEGA (LEGANÉS)

Lope de Vega is a school located in Leganés (Madrid), which is a village with around 200.000 habitants in the centre of Spain. It has 28 teachers and around 447 students who are between 3 and 12 years old.
The school´s diverse students work together to create an atmosphere of tolerance.
Moreover, it has a project to raise environmental awareness called "Ecoescuela".
The school is very active and compromised with inclusion and innovation. There is a very cohesive and efficient team of teachers with a blend of youthfulness, experience and enthusiasm. Inclusion is a priority and teachers try to make it effective using ICT and new methodologies such as flipped learning or cooperative learning.
The main goal of Lope de Vega school is to guide students in all aspects of life so they can be prepared as citizens of the XXI century. Teachers´ main focus is creating well-rounded individuals.

TURKEY - ANAFARTA SECONDARY SCHOOL (UNYE)

Unye Anafarta Secondary School is located in the centre of Unye, which is the biggest town of Ordu.  It has 74 teachers and 913 students. There are 11 students with special needs in two different classes and also 13 inclusive students in ordinary classrooms.The age of the students is between 9 and 15. 
The students come from families of different social backgrounds. Some come from one parent families and have social needs. Some have divorced parents and a few are orphans. They are keen on making friends with children from other countries. The fathers of many Turkish students go to big cities to make their living, which results in leaving kids with one parent.
We have a remarkable number of immigrants and refugees in our school and city. They can’t speak Turkish very well. We teach them Turkish.
It is a priority to develop a strong interest in the new European approach of learning/teaching for Anafarta Secondary School. It is involved in innovating its teaching, studying and learning processes developing its working organization according to the new digital learning methods and devices thus giving a prompt replay to the new demands globalization requires. Its qualified staff has a faithful vision on internationalization to warrant the projects quality. It favors the use of it in education by providing both teachers and students with all kinds of facilities to assure a profitable usability and accessibility of technology for teaching and learning. Teachers coordinate activities with stakeholders, such as homes, local enterprises and municipality.
Doing different international projects is important as it help our students to take experience from other nations, cultures and share their own ideas and experience
We completed a lot of Erasmus and E-twinning projects.

LITHUANIA - VILKAVIŠKIO R.  KYBARTŲ  “SAULĖS”  PROGIMNAZIJA

Kybartai  ”Saules“  Progymnasium of Vilkaviskis district  is a comprehensive school for students  aged 7-15  covering primary and basic education. This school year there are  402 students: 202 students of primary education (grades 1-4), and 200 students of basic education (grades 5-8). 
Kybartai “Saulės” Progymnasium is one of the newest  (it was built in 2002, and it is 17 years old) and most modern schools in Lithuania. We have spacious and modern well equipped classrooms, two gyms, a library, a conference hall, a canteen, three ICT rooms, a 3D room, a science laboratory. The staff of the school consists of 43 teachers including the principal,   two principal’s deputies, a social pedagogue, two teacher’s assistants who help students with special needs, a speech therapist, two librarians, a teacher of a day care group, a nurse. 
According to the conclusions of National Agency for School Evaluation our school has been rated as one of 30 best schools in Lithuania.
The school puts much effort to integrate all the children of the area into the school community. Two students with mobility disabilities are able to attend school thanks to adjustment of the physical school environment for children with disabilities.  29 students come from families at social risk. 7 students live in a foster home. There are 13 students from Roma families. 32 students are diagnosed to have educational difficulties. Prevention system has been introduced to provide support and to focus on prevention of truancy.
Kybartai “Saules” Progymnasium organizes and takes part in many local, national and international projects (etwinning projects “Christmas Carols. Let‘s Sing Together“, “Our English Tale to Tell“, “Me-My Country-My World”, “Let’s Get Acquainted”). The projects help pupils to broaden their historical, geographical and cultural knowledge.
All together students and teachers are able to perceive different lifestyles, interests and other ways of living, develop their ICT skills and the school practice in terms of intercultural communication is being improved. The school aims to be modern, open, tolerant and dynamic educational institution that lays foundation for rapidly changing society.

ROMANIA - SCOALA GIMNAZIALA NR.184 (BUCHAREST)

Scoala Gimnaziala Numarul 184, is a school situated in the north-west part of Bucharest, the capital of Romania.  Our school provides primary and secondary education for 390 students,  who are between 6-15 years old.
In the school work around 33 teachers. They are all experienced in their branches, innovative, with a positive point of view in life, respectful to all cultures and willing to learn European culture.
Scoala Gimnaziala Numarul 184 is a small team trying to be efficient, first of all. Our aim is to help students pass from school into the world around them, a world of work, culture, intellectual activity and human involvement.

CROATIA – OŠ DR. BRANIMIRA MARKOVIĆA (RAVNA GORA)

Dr. Branimir Marković Primary School is situated in Ravna Gora, a small town in the heart of Gorski Kotar region with a population of 2,430 people.
The school employs 19 teachers, 2 librarians and an educator. It is run by the  headmistress  Nataša Možgon Kauzlarić, M.A.  The school staff has always been devoted to fostering true values ​​that greatly influence the upbringing and education of children, as well as meeting and broadening the needs and abilities of each individual student, and  monitoring his or her progress. This results in a high quality  teaching, together with the variety and abundance of extra-curricular and outside-school activities offered, which enables our teachers to creatively engage students in making outstanding results.
Having Eco-school status, our teachers  strive to develop awareness among our student′s about the importance of protecting and saving the environment.  Moreover,  we enrich our schoolwork with various projects, especially volonteering in order to promote volunteer values ​​among students and teachers. In addition, we carry out extracurricular activity "Citizenship Education" through which our students are taught  how to become responsible and active citizens of our country and the world.
Constant collaboration with  the pre-school education provided within Dr. B. Marković Primary  School,  contributes to develop our students potentials. Also,  all our students and teachers benefit  from successful cooperation with children′s parents, locals, numerous associations within the Ravna Gora Municipality and beyond.
 So far, the school has been awarded  with numerous honours at the county and state levels for success and results in advancing pedagogical theory and practice.

POLAND - Prywatna Szkoła Podstawowa nr 72 "Szkoła Marzeń" (GÓRNE)

Primary School- Prywatna Szkoła Podstawowa nr 72 "Szkoła Marzeń"  is located in Zalesie Górne in Poland. It is a small village with 3000 inhabitants. It is situated in the center of Poland, in the outskirts of its capital city-Warsaw. The school has 117 pupils aged from 7 to 14. There are 28 teachers in the school. Apart from the general bilingual primary school, there is also a private music school. A lot of pupils attend music classes after their regular lessons. They sing and play different musical instruments there. The pupils of our school live in the closest neighborhood as well come from distant areas. They all speak Polish, are fluent in English, some of them speak German, French and Spanish. The school takes part in a project called „Close to nature“, as it is located in a beautiful afforested, quiet area, far away from the city center. Pupils grow vegetables, keep hens and chickens, collect eggs.
Every year we carry out charity actions to help elderly people from care homes. Pupils visit them, prepare short plays and music performances.
The aim of our school is to develop children's awareness to art and cultural heritage. Pupils participate in theatre performances and musicals. The school has good cooperation with numerous organizations and the local community. Our aim is to encourage pupils to use ICT technology and different web tools to create music projects and presentations. Our school staff is well trained, educated and highly motivated. All the teachers are ready for new experience and cooperation. We would like to be involved in the project as we want to make our pupils understand social, linguistic and cultural diversity and have a positive attitude towards European communities.
